Content migration!

Greetings friends. So it’s finally happening … We’re starting the content migration process. In non-website speak, this means we are putting the content from our current website onto our new one. Yippee! We’re not transferring every single piece of content (as we have content that goes back to 1997!) but we’re going to make sure all the best and most useful content is there for you.

We anticipate another 2 to 3 weeks for content migration and then another 2 or so weeks after that to continue to implement the sleek new design to the new site. Then we’ll need to undergo a period of testing and perfecting. So at this point we’re looking at a mid- to late-September launch. How does that sound? Of course, as with any website redesign, we’ll need to factor in some amount of flexibility. But barring any major problems, we should have a new site for you soon!

When the big day comes, we’re going to ask you, our users, to help us spread the word to all your friends and journalist colleagues around the world. We want IJNet to be the place-to-be for all international journalists the world over.

We will keep you updated over the coming weeks. Thanks for your continued patience and support.
